In 2018, through the vision of our CTO, Mortronix Technologies Ltd financially assisted to start a Christian school (called Tagop Christian Academy) in the rural Tarawe Village of Siassi Island, in the Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. We helped built a bush material classroom, sponsored teachers to attend their courses every year, helped to supply stationary every year, and of course provide small incentives for our committed teachers. Since the introduction of this school, it has elevated children's learning, and improved their ability in writing, speaking, and understanding English, and also in other subjects. Apart from the intellectual improvement, the school curriculum also teaches Christian values, and developing moral godly character. As such, most of our students' behaviour have changed for the better, and that change is gradually moving into homes and the community at large. We are currently raising funds to build a new 3-1 permanent modern classroom. So far, we've cut timbers already (from trees donated by parents). However, we still need roofing iron and many other building materials to build the classroom. We would like to thank Vanguard International Ltd, for their support towards Tagop Christian Academy. They've financially assisted the school, arranged for donation of complete classroom kit (which included desks, chairs, books, blackboard, etc), and they've also donated 3 x desktop computers towards the school.
