Giving Back to the Community
Since 2018, inspired by the vision of our CTO, Mortronix Technologies Ltd has proudly supported Tagop Christian Academy, a Christian school founded in the rural Tarawe Village on Siassi Island, Morobe Province. Our support has included funding the construction of a classroom built with local bush materials, sponsoring teachers’ ongoing education, providing essential stationery annually, and offering small incentives to encourage and retain dedicated teachers. The impact has been profound. Children at Tagop Christian Academy have shown significant improvement in literacy, English language skills, and other subjects. Beyond academics, the school’s curriculum instills strong Christian values and nurtures moral character. As a result, positive behavioral changes are evident not only in the students but are also influencing their families and the wider community. We are currently raising funds to build a permanent, modern 3-in-1 classroom. Timber has been generously donated by parents, and we’ve begun cutting the wood, but materials such as roofing iron and other supplies are still needed to complete this vital project. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Vanguard International Ltd for their generous support. They have financially assisted the school, donated a complete classroom kit—including desks, chairs, books, and a blackboard—and contributed three desktop computers to enhance learning.
